OPENspace.ART is an education and creation project on public, participatory and site-specific performance with a focus on ecology. The project included participatory performances in Kaş/Antalya, Bergama/Izmir and Hemşin/Rize, designed based on the ecological characteristics of the region and the collective memory of the struggle for nature carried out by the local people. These performances were staged in venues with this memory and in theatre venues in such districts.

Educational workshops, performances and videoART works, which started in March 2023 with director Şule Ateş as the curator, aimed to initiate a dialogue between local non-governmental organizations and theatre festivals in the districts, and to develop sustainable artistic production networks. All of art works were presented and the final performance took place at the Kaş Theatre Days held in October 2023.
